3D Areola Prosthesis

A 3D areola prosthesis is a custom-made, hand-finished prosthetic areola designed to restore a natural, lifelike appearance after mastectomy or breast reconstruction. Each prosthesis is colour-matched and shaped to suit your skin tone and body, offering a non-invasive alternative or complement to restorative tattooing.

How it works

1. Consultation. We discuss your goals, review the treatment area and confirm you're suitable.
2. Colour and shape matching. Size, projection, texture and pigment are matched to your skin tone for a natural result.
3. Fitting. Your prosthesis is fitted and adjusted for comfort and a secure, seamless finish.
4. Aftercare guidance. We show you how to apply, remove, clean and store your prosthesis so it lasts.

Good to know

• Completely non-invasive, with no needles and no downtime
• Applied with a skin-safe adhesive and can be worn day to day, including in the shower or swimming, depending on the adhesive used
• Clearance from your treating surgeon is recommended if you have had recent surgery
