Tattoo removal
Saline tattoo removal is a specialised technique used to lighten, lift and remove unwanted cosmetic or small paramedical tattoo pigment using a safe, high-grade saline solution. Unlike laser removal, which targets ink with light and heat, the saline method works by drawing pigment up and out of the skin naturally through the body’s healing process.
Using a cosmetic tattoo device, a carefully formulated saline solution is implanted into the skin where the unwanted pigment sits. The solution binds to the ink particles, causing them to break apart and rise to the surface during the natural exfoliation phase. Over several weeks, the area gradually lightens, creating a safer and more controlled removal option for delicate facial features such as brows, lips and eyeliner.
This method is ideal for clients who have had previous PMU work that is too dark, uneven, misshaped or simply no longer desired — offering a non-laser alternative with minimal risk of heat damage or colour change. For larger or overly saturated areas, laser may still be recommended.
